I can still remember this song from when I was a young man. The late Sir Terry Wogan played it on BBC radio 2 endlessly. What a fantastic guy! "Why sit there thinking of the past?, recounting empty days gone by?. When you should make every moment last, it's easy to do just try." And I am am an Englishman living in Spain!

I was just a teen kid of 13 yrs, when it came to the British top 20 charts, truly about early May 1975, and although it is directed to a female, it did also apply to me even in those days. I fully agree with Gilbert's wise suggestions, but frequently in life, a decision is better said than done, when we face the reality, of what the wicked life throws at us ! Very nice and unique song, that brings to me the kid in me again.❤
