This aired in 1992. It was on late, late at night. I was a freshman in high school and falling asleep to this when I started paying attention and laughed in the most medically worrying way - I had never laughed this way before. It was strange. He became my favorite instantly, and still is to this day. What a gem, he still cracks me up in that unsuspecting, sucker punch way where you're just a puddle on the ground. God bless him.

My wife surprised me one year with the gift of Gilbert for my birthday… this was just after his Gilbert doc came out but I had never seen his act live before and I had the same reaction - I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. Afterwards I approached him and he was so sweet. God, I miss that feeling Gilbert - where you just laugh and laugh and it’s all just so amazingly nothing of this world… THANK YOU, Gilbert

Always hilarious and original. I love how the stage looks like someone is bidding on lawn furniture on The Price is Right.

Bob Dylan gets a haircut from Floyd the Barber from the Andy Griffith Show. This might be the funniest minute and a half of comedy I have ever seen. My friends have all seen it and have cried laughing. Absolutely brilliant!

I have been searching for this for years! The squid jokes routine has stayed with me all these years since this was first aired. I even quoted from it (somewhat incorrectly I know see) when I heard that Gilbert died. But he sure did a lot of squid jokes, and that means something in this world.

I wonder when they'll have a Gilbert Gottfried hologram for Coachella. I would love to see a Gilbert Gottfried hologram at the next Coachella. It would bring me such joy and pleasure to know he was among his peers such as Freddie Mercury, Biggie Smalls, andTupac Shakur. Now the whole gang can be together again to perform their greatest hits.

I love him making fun of the no talent Dice Clay. That was hilarious. Gilbert has such a unique performance style and it is hilarious. I have known of him for like….I don’t know , well over 35 years but for some reason I never really looked into his stand up routines. I always heard him on the Stern show and I loved him. I really don’t know why I never sought out his work. Well I’m glad I have now because he is the best.

Anyone have Gilbert on Tom Snyder circa early 90s where he says boomlet and comments on Jurassic Park? It's an obscure memory I have. I know it existed.
