This is pretty cool. It authentically captures the spirit of the late sixties. Every Penny Lane... Beatles-Ish.. Simple observations about everyday life. It would be almost impossible to fake that sound if you hadn't experienced the actual times. Very cool.

Such an excellent song with it's avant garde sensibilities. ****And I love the nod to Carole King (Really Rosie). (EDIT: I think I got that backwards, or the lyrics may be simply coincidental. King's "Really Rosie" wasn't released until 1975 whereas Mr Moody's Garden dates back to 1969.)**** The lyrics are wonderful (as always!) Mr. O'Sullivan still sounds EXCELLENT live in concert. Just true genius, IMHO!

@@James-yp7jm Hmmmm.... I don't understand. The lyrics sound like an obvious nod to Carole King. He says, "You do my name is Nosey And this is me sister really (really)". (Like Really Rosie from Chicken Soup with Rice). Maybe I am wrong, but I believe that Mr. O'Sullivan is a fan of Carole King's. Maybe I've got it backwards. Maybe Carole King was giving a nod to the O'sullivan lyric. Maybe it is just a coincidence. At any rate, I didn't mean to offend. If I did, then I am sorry. They are both excellent songwriters, in my opinion.

@@James-yp7jm 😀I truly believe that hundreds of years from now they will study and revere Raymond O'Sullivan the same way that they study and revere Bach and Mozart today. He will be known as a grand master. Of course, to us fans he already is a revered master. So prolific, but the quality is never compromised! True Genius!!
