Gilded Tarot Royale - 4k flip through

Over the last few weeks I’ve noticed an increasing fascination with Tarot for myself. I’m not 100 percent sure why. However, instead of fighting off the desire to learn I decided that I wanted to follow that desire and I started looking at potential Tarot decks to purchase as my first deck (yes I know that some people think your first deck should be gifted to you, but I have no one who would do that for me). Then I landed on an earlier video about this deck and the art simply spoke to me even through the video. Long story short I’m “gifting” myself this deck as my first Tarot deck and I can’t wait to see it in person.

@@Ariaya1 it stalled out for a bit in the winter if I’m honest. I’m having a bit of trouble connecting with this deck I think. Although I am still interested in learning 😀

My first deck was Ciro Marchetti's Tarot of Dreams. Similar style to this but a bit more fantastical with a touch of ethereal sci-fi which I really like.

I really love this deck but the death card irritates me, maybe if I got this deck I'd use a marker to just make that part a black void instead. Don't like skulls smiling at me even if it's something that I have to face every year on my birthday on Halloween.

i ahave barbara moore first tarot book of Gilded ,called tarot companions..........i ve lost a card over the yrs and im attached to this desk and cant find another set like is there any way find one to replace this card

Do you think the guidebook is worth it? I’m a seasoned reader and understand RWS meanings and symbolism. Does the guidebook offer anything interesting about what’s on the card itself or is it geared toward the beginner? I’m trying to decide between this and the deck only version. Thank you!!!

How is the quality ? I saw a few comments stating that the cards are not made in good quality paper...

Feels like 310gsm. Not too thick, but works ok for me. I read with it daily with no issues.
