Hi Jennifer ~ I've had a jar of these flakes collecting dust for a long time now and am thrilled to see this "what is old is new again" video! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful cards and technique with us. Happy Weekend! ~HUGS~ #kindnessmatters

I love Jennifer McGuire videos. Always well explained with lots of good ideas and techniques. The only thing I would do differently is I store my flakes in a bigger container. It makes them so much easier to use. You can apply them over the container and catch a lot of the surplus straight back into the box. Saves time clearing up most of it.

Wow! I've not seen the gilding flakes used before, but they sure pack a punch! I loved the cards and will need to purchase some of the flakes to try.

Perfect timing. I pass my gilding flakes on the shelf every time I enter my craft room, and they have been looking at me reproachfully. Time to invite them to the party.

Oh wow Jennifer, that's beautiful. I have these flakes from long ago, and I used them with special glue they sold with it. I never thought of using them with this tape! I have this tape in many thicknesses. I am going to use those flakes now. Thank you so much.

I was living in NJ and it was November (making Thanksgiving cards)...what a MESS! After cleaning it up there was flakes days later! I used a small vacuum but wish I had known about the Swiffer! I may try it again..not as windy in GA! lol. Thanks for bringing these back with new strategies!

Your cards are beautiful and I am glad I watched this video. I learned two things: how to evenly space slanted lines( definitely a great tip) and that while gilding looks beautiful on a card, it is way too messy a process for me!

Glad you left the boo boo in the video. I adhere things the wrong way all the time! My latest was adhering my finished panel to the card base upside down. Let's just say some sequins had to be added to cover areas where the panel got bent out of shape, lol. Thanks for sharing the beautiful cards!
