I cannot imagine getting those elements straight on my panel!!! You're amazing. I love the letterpress look. If US mail wasn't more expensive for square cards, I do believe every card I'd make would be letterpress-look and square. The simplicity of your cards is just sooooo appealing! Thank you for sharing, Jennifer.

This is like the older idea of making one’s own embossing folder. The possibilities are endless :) I also love the tip of using vellum on the one side to add the colour and that they are reusable !

Jennifer I just love this and the cards came out beautifully....and I just loved it when you said you loved doggies...as I am a dog person too...my heart really felt that...we had 3 pugs over a period of our marriage and now we lost the last one about 4 years ago and I still miss him so much...but at 85 now I hesitate to get another one...maybe a rescue... a senior like us...LOL

When I saw your preview pictures I couldn't figure out how you did this technique. Now I'm in awe. What a way to use dies differently. It would be fun to do this technique and then stamp with a coordinating stamp to add even more details.

Very pretty cards. I'm going to give it a whirl. You have no idea how happy I am that you are trying out various die cut machines. My machine is tired and I think it's going to give out on me. I'm really interested in seeing which machine is good for older hands, too. Thank you for all your nice videos.

Thank you, thank you, Jennifer! I have been struggling lately! Stamping has been a major part of my surviving the loss of my husband, Dan. He passed away from Avery rare disease last November, right after Thanksgiving. Since September it has been one event after another- our 47th anniversary, our son's birthday, Dan & my Mom's birthday, our youngest granddaughter's birthday (she & Dan shared their celebration together since they're only a day apart) now Thanksgiving and the anniversary of his death are looming in front of me. I felt that I was moving forward till September than Boom! I will sit at my stamp table staring at the paper in front of me, even when I have an idea - and nothing. Creativity and joy simply gone. Even tried just recreating cards that I have loved making so I didn't have to stress the old brain cells! Nothing! Then I watched this video and wow! I'm so excited! You have been a big part of my healing process, and not just today! Thank you so much!

Well, we're now in late September of 2022...I love those dies used for the dogs as well...wish they still had them. I have a Golden Retriever service dog...went looking to find similar dies to make cards from the two of us but none to be had...OH well! Love the technique and I will be using it. Thank you, Jennifer! I will be on the lookout for used dies that fit the bill as I visit resale sites and individuals 'de-stashing'. It is a sweet card...they all are, but it took my eye. Blessings!

Jennifer this a great technique for oil based inks like Intaglio or monoprints...thanks for the lightbulb moment, and by the way...watercolor paper is most practical for this method. Also pre-wetting or soaking the watercolor paper will minimize the paper from cracking in the pressing processing. Thanks Emmy
