Some of the partial remains foud at Gilgo Beach have been connected to other partial remains found elsewhere as early as 1996. He's 59 years old, so he's old enough to have committed those murders. If he's responsible for those deaths as well, then he's been active since he was in his 20's.

They are very skilled at living normal lives on the surface - it's part of their power game, but secretly they are completely different. Most kill a number of people over several years before they get caught. I think he has killed over the course of his life, but went undetected because he moved around to mislead detectives. The special task force, with access to special resources, has apparently been on it for about a year now montoring him. So imo they never gave up on finding this monster and once they were onto him, they did a great job. He's going down for sure.

Where is Heuermann's wife and family currently? We haven't seen or heard from them at all since his arrest. Understandably, they'd probably be shocked and horrified, and they'd want privacy from the media. But I haven't heard of them being home when law enforcement came to search the house. According to travel records, he allegedly killed his victims when his family was out of town and he was left by himself. If his family were once again away from home and he had been contacting sex workers recently, it's very possible that the investigators were growing scared that he'd take this opportunity to hunt for his next victim and felt that they had to move in immediately.

The chief of police of suffilk county at the time when this case originally broke over a decade ago imo was obstructing the investigation for some reason. His name was Burke. Do some research on him and you'll be surprised. I personally think he may have been involved with the girl who was murdered who had called 911 for help. I think he was either involved or covered it up. Who knows what really happened to those girls, maybe this was a group of pervs making snuff films. Sick things do go on. I think the police still have alot of digging to do. And i think they need to be looking real hard at Burke too.
