I'm confused by, pretty much, every line of the lyrics, but who gives a damn. The song alone is an incredible piece, and now this video... just amazingly disturbing and disturbingly amazing. That is because "girl" was the name of the singer daughter, that die in an accident. Girl couldn't make it, was disastrous to her body. The name of the band must to be changed for the singer to continue in the formation, because he can't stay in a band that had the name of his dead daughter and throw him back to that memory. Now the band have the name of the drummer daughter...
