@@Aaron1Ayalathey are technically in a hiatus and now each member is making their own music and will upload new music this year or the next. We still don’t know why it happened, but from my perspective they seem in good terms, so they’ll probably comeback at some point.

@@sebastianherrera6514My guesses are probably ego issues or burnout/stress from touring. Hellfire and LP4 (now New Sound) seem like they were definitely heading towards Geordie’s preferred style and may not have compromised entirely with the styles that Cameron and Morgan were also interested in. Cameron’s solo acoustic performances are mostly folk, country and indie. They were also touring for over a year, and that might have also caused a lot of stress for them. Geordie also handled the band’s departure very insensitively after he went on Instagram live and promoted his solo album within a week of them ‘breaking up,’ despite the band agreeing to not announce it in case they do get back together

The way I interpreted it is that he is a stalker, stalking this girl. This girl is a relationship with another person. The boy spies on her with a camera which he hid in the flowers. The girl fins out and somehow show the guy hell. He either drugs him, or she is a goddes and literally sends him to another universe, or place. Here he is guided by an arrow, maye representing his will or his hate or something, and he gets powers by following it. There he found a device, a computer, that shows him all possible universes, which he uses to find the girl. (here fits the story of the video for Slow) With that device, he finds the start of all timelines/universes, which is the "angel of death", the biblical correct angel also seen on Slow. He kills/smashes the core containing the angel of death, which seems like an egg, or the representation of that angel. After the core is broken, the universe explodes, and the angel of death is free. Then he returns back to his own world. Here he finally found the girl, which wants to kill him. But he kisses her and then kills her. And then suddenly a God Warrior from Nausicaä spawns from the sky and eats them both. At least I believe the guy, when he was in the other world and put in the other body, he found that computer. That computer shows timelines/universes. I think the guy was looking through all the timelines/universes to find that girl, and when he couldnt find her, her went to the origin of everything, which is the "angel of death", the biblical angerl, who spawns when the world and universe explodes in Slow, and destroys her (egg (, which is the universe?)), and thus all timelines/universes that originated from that angel or perhaps god or devil. My story is probably very flawed. But Its a start, hopefully. Maybe you can improve some things?

So I watched it a few times and went back to Slow (which honestly makes it more difficult) Obviously Jerkhead is a weird stalker and the music video seems to be about how that leads to violence or how his obsession is destructive towards the unnamed pink character. The Slow music video doesn't really give any context it just shows the end of his journey into hell/the thing in the sky and him destroying the amulet that pink hair has (which appears to protect her?). I'm sure the lyrics of Slow have some thematic relevance. As for the lyrics of this song I think they reflect the often exploitative and misogynistic culture of armed forces. Manipulating and and abusing young impressionable men into violence and unthinking obedience can lead to further violence being inflicted on others. I think the song and the video are ultimately about obsession and violence, best represented when jerkhead forcibly kisses pink hair and then rips off her face
@pt11072 жыл бұрын
@@TheLetterH111 That's what I got. I didn't think about the war part though. I also think the Pink girl's name is "Salama". That's the name it had on the site Jerkhead finds her at the "incel bar", if this is decoded properly, its a name that means peace. It could all be an ironic metaphor about wanting peace so bad that countries fight for it. Fitting, because he is surrounded by tanks facing towards Salama at the end.

man I wished that transcendent prog electronic bit was in the studio version, it's so epic and panoramic and it sounds like im falling into an endless psychedelic wormhole i found in the middle of the song

This band casually dropped the best song of the year... and then proceeded to casually drop the best album of the year. Legend behavior.
