I graduated from Tosa East in 1966. I have always fed my husband Scotch Jimmie Treats. That was my favorite when we went to Gillis. I wish we didn’t live so far away. We are in Texas now. It was a trip down memory lane when we Googles Gillis and there you were. Keep making people smile. Thanks

Congratulations on 85 years. I worked at Gilles' in the early 1970's for Paul Gilles along with my mother Jo Blankenheim. I try to stop by when I come to Milwaukee, but I don't get there that often anymore. Continued success.

Gilles has the best ICE CREAM in the city! I love it there!

You Never Ever call it Ice Cream. It's Custard. The taste isn't even close. Custard is made with egg yolks which gives it the thick extra creamy texture. Add on the high quality toppings and you have the perfect Gillies Sundae! I love getting their burgers with the works, ring/fry mix with a green slushie. I've been eatting there since 1971 in high school. I now live down the street from it, and love it!
