Harold Faltermeyer - Fletch Theme (12'' Version) [Re-Extended by Gilles Nuytens]
This is an extended version of the 12'' version of the theme of the movie « Fletch » (1985) by Harold Faltermeyer. Just like with the movie "Kuffs", this one also sounds very similar to the Axel F. theme from another of Harold Faltermeyer's classic: Beverly Hills Cop. This version comes from the official extended version of the Fletch Theme that was only available on a 12'' vinyl. I decided to mix both the 7'' version and the 12'' version to make this "Re-Extended" mix. The 12'' version is very different from the classic version because it contains music notes that isn't present on the classic version. It also had a very different acoustic which made the equalization extremely difficult. I did my best to fix the differences between the overall sound of both versions but it's far from perfection. Unfortunately I'm not a sound engineer and this was far beyond my skills to master perfectly. It is what it is, it took me days of work to figure out how to improve this but I can't do better at this point. Enjoy for what it is.
