The 80s, when people took the time to include great music in great movies. The exact opposite of what is happening today.

It was 1984, I was 12 yrs old, my older brother had this copied from a friend on tape - and I played it over and over again. Still like it today!

Finally, I've found my tribe! Lol. I had this on 45 as a B-side. Sigh.....oh the nostalgia of 80's synth drum beats.
@mobus1603 Жыл бұрын
I love this song as much as you do for sure, but this wasn't on the "Beverly Hills Cop" soundtrack if that's what you copied, so are you sure that you copied THIS song and not just Harold Faltermeyer's "Axel F"?
@ericgelders Жыл бұрын
@@mobus1603 Had to look it up - the track comes from the Axel F single, apparently. It's not on the sound track, but it is IN the movie, in a scene where Axel F is undertaking some action with the other 2 cops. It's all long ago, so I don't know exactly anymore, but the music stuck with me 😃!

It's so awesome that if you play double of the same track, but a split-second apart, the echo affect is fun to play with while dancing during the power beats!

I remember this 45 LP record back in 1984 when Beverly Hills Cop came out and this was on the B side of Axle F theme on the A side. Both are awesome themes for the movie. But other than KZbin, you can’t find this in better digital quality which sucks. You can only find Axle F theme. Thanks for the upload.

Same. I had the 45 as a kid & played it throughout well into my teens.

I'm a Brazilian keyboard musician and I'm putting together this song on my Roland Fantom, there's no video on KZbin of other keyboard players playing this song, which is similar to the classic Axl Foley theme but nothing from Shoot Out which for me the theme is perfect. As soon as I finish putting together the song and playing on the keyboard I will post the video.
