I have a 109 but I sold it to a fellow wet shaver on one of the Facebook groups I’m a member of. I always wanted to get a super 84 but never could find one in good condition for a decent price... it just so happens that one of my watch saving buddies messaged me and asked me if I wanted one I had to do was pay the shipping!!!! He basically PIF’ed it to me and I love it!

Thanks for your review on the know about so called the black beaut recently discovered TTO 1/9 black handle got it as my 45th bithday present i found it's utterly smooth clean shave, handle feels great quality item for regular use.

I got rid of my Fatips, Edwin Jaggers and Merkur. My only 2 razors are a R41 and a Super Adj 84. I’m set for the rest of my shaving life.

i just buy two like the middle long handle, both in their package never used before made in the USA, and i feel bad for the seller i didnt know what i was buying and she neither know what she were selling, that razors were never sold in Mexico and i found them and bought them as a gift for my father and brother, i use a merkur progress which i am very happy but I'm very tempted to keep one for me...

Merkur uses Zamak. Go vintage Gillette!

You mention that you took them apart. Can you explain how to crimp the retaining bolt on the long handle when you finish working for it? Looks like you'll be needing a very long and thin plier​, or is there another way?

That’s exactly what I use. I make my own tools. You will need to grind down a set of needle nose pliers to do it. Be sure you keep the tool cool, though, because you can affect the temper if you heat it too much.

Have problem with the quarter tarn but fills stiff and safe is it ok?

Do you know if the all Slim Twist had non blacked out numbers or was the color scheme introduced with the Black of the Beauties?

WolfRanger2008 the "Slim Twist" is a separate, non-adjustable razor. The "Slim Adjustable" came with blacked out numbers. All of them did. :) some of them aren't blacked out, but that's because the paint has worn off.

They are mild razors? That is the whole idea of the adjustability 1-9. Mild to aggressive.
