Gillette Tinfoil Phonograph Demonstration

Here we have a Gillette Tinfoil Phonograph demonstration. This phonograph is one of 15 that were made in the 1990's based on a late 19th century design which was in turn based on Thomas Edison's "Brady" Tinfoil Phonograph from 1878.

Did you make everything custom?

Yes, the new diaphragm and stylus and gaskets, braces, etc. were all custom made by me. All of the earlier modifications were made by me also according to suggestions from Ben, "The Victrola Guy".
