Even though I know she played Margaret Thatcher in The Crown, I couldn't see it then and I still can't see it now. That make-up department deserves awards for sure. She looked entirely different and Gillian Anderson molded her stance, speech, mannerisms and everything else perfectly. She disappears so successfully into Thatcher. Incredible. She is iconic for nearly every role she has every played.
