Thanks for posting this, my best friend loves Gillian and she was so excited by this Q and A. She's the one near the end thanking Gillian for help changing people's perception of women in science.

Oh thanks for the info! :) See, she shouldn't underestimate herself! The fans are always there, no matter which country she is in! I'm happy that all these people showed up here in Toronto; we wanted to show her she's still loved here and that her Canadian fans want to see her more often! I hope she finally realized it when she did that Q&A and more generally, when she came at Fan Expo.

Hiya, I was at LFCC and the room The Talk Panel was held in was smaller than the room you guys were in but the room was still a large size and packed to capacity. Her fan base in the UK is huge.

Also, the con wasn't as big as that dragoncon & fanexpo.. omg these look HUGE :O And seeing those two, LFCC wasn't *that* organised either... They prolly learned from this, for the future, I hope she'll be there another time :D

+Rachel Alderson While talking about Bad Blood, she first says "Mark's version" instead of "David's version". Then she goes "Mark!?" and acts a little uncomfortable. Mark is her ex partner, the father of her two youngest children. She had announced their separation earlier that month, back in 2012.

Lol, I think it's weird that she said... You were there? Wonder if it's really true. Surely she's got to have a good fanbase in England! Haha it's the same thing for me too! I spent too much money on this, now I may have to eat one green pea a day and not buy anything for months to make up for it!

Yeah I was there, although I didn't have money to be 'inside the booth' but we could peek in, but seriously, not 5½ people and not 80 there were much more people than that! Well, I think it's kind of a joke, but all jokes have some kind of truth right? So I think she expected more, because the queues for the photoshoot were huuuge, so she prolly thought that all those ppl would be at the Q&A too, but it wasn't free so I bet there were more people like me that didn't have money left for that..
