I do agree with the statement about a small traveling setup making you work better as a couple with kids! we don't have this lifestyle but we own a RV and spend weeks/months traveling together at times; and I have found out we definitely are happier and work better as a team when RVing!!!

Just that overhang he built makes me want to recheck my man-card and learn how to weld. Superb bus all around with her aesthetic and his engineering. Seriously, if you can make a space that small work with kids, you know you've got something special.

Seriously one of the nicest buses I've seen and I've seen hundreds. Love the sink cover idea doubling as your table. Once of the few buses with a stove that has a countertop level cover that I've seen. Love the slide-away oven door cover too. The kids loft is great. I think that space is too small for adults, at least it would be for me, but perfect for kids. Almost like a tree house. The porthole in the shower is on my list when I build. I want to give my bus a nautical theme but couldn't decide where to put the porthole. Bathroom seems best. Very nicely done.

I hope the wife knows just how lucky she is, that the husband took her 'suggestions' and did them, the only worry i have is the kids getting to school age they really should be making friends at 6 and 7 but i don't think they're that old yet, I don't think home school works as flawed as public school is it does teach important social skills.
@PoeticJustice05 Жыл бұрын
Homeschool does work. Don't worry about them. They'll be fine because their parents are together and they have a healthy family. Plus, they will be very worldly.
@PenisMcWhirtar Жыл бұрын
This is a very important question and no easy answer. Home schooling in the early years, if done right, will give the kids a head start academically. However, I've seen a lot of home-schooled kids have real difficulty coming into the regular system (if they need to do that). So even though I hate regular schools, I personally would advise this couple to find somewhere nice to settle for the next 12 years and send their kids to school, then send them to a boarding school at 16 (which most 16 year olds love) and resume their travels.

hi dwellings it's a nice bus you've made 🙂 Have a question though. Have thought about this a lot, are there no regulations in the US at all about seat belts and seat belts for everyone in the RV? Think especially when there are children involved. If they are not fastened while driving and an accident occurs, there is a significantly greater risk of serious injury, perhaps even resulting in death. Know in Europe where I live it is ILLEGAL not to wear a seat belt !!
@SundanceBus Жыл бұрын
Heya! That’s a great question! We have 5 different sets of seatbelts and two car seats 💺 for the kiddos. Some states require seatbelts in the US and some don’t. We prefer to have everybody strapped in but have made a few exceptions…
@sepudo1950 Жыл бұрын
Also, keep in mind that school buses that actually carry kids don't have seat belts (at least in my state of CA) . there's plenty of info online which explains why this may actually be safer on large heavy school buses.
