What one of the B7s was this? As a Gillingham resident I hold these buses dearly and now there's only 3 (6402,6406,6420) left. And as you would see, my pfp is 6440 just about a week before it was withdrawn, I genuinely am so distraught these B7s are getting withdrawn as I loved riding them before COVID. My speculation is that cuz of COVID I think arriva wants to standardise its fleet especially at Gillingham, getting rid of those and possibly the enviros soon enough. We can't have 4054/8/9 withdrawn aswell. Same for 1637-42 aswell but I always have a cat n mouse game with 4058 half the time forming the service after or before the one I need. But on the other note. RIP the B7s, screw you arriva, and the fate of northfleets darts are next.

Nevermind I read the desc and saw it was 6401 but the rant still lives as 6401 is now dead

Ultimately, these buses are 20 years old, they've outlasted the vast majority of their type even under other Arriva operations. It's rare for buses to get much beyond 15-18 years in service and these (along with their caretakers at Gillingham garage) have handled their ageing superbly, but there will always come a time to move on.
