Mari Hillestad Of course he is, but he is most funny with lost Kirk or stubborn Paris around, because people like them don't know they're being ridiculous or at least annoying so he gets increasingly upset deep inside but tries to appear as cool as possible ...up to a certain point of course.😆 Ypu know, Lorelai just always keeps talking, also Luke does like her quirks, so he'd never turn nearly as sarcastic and quick with the gags as he does here. Plus, with rather narrow-minded personalities like Taylor, sarcasm won't help you anyway, so usually Luke instantly yells at that man. But weirdos like Paris and Kirk (and also dumbasses like his precious brother in law😆🤦🏻‍♀️) requiring a lot of understanding for their neurosis just bring out the best of sarcastic Luke.😂

People might not like Paris but the real truth here is that Paris was actually carrying the damn show a lot of people don’t like Paris or the show because they don’t understand something called humor it’s a very different type of humor that if you haven’t used it’s gonna take some time to understand and trust me I didn’t like Paris either but then I started to realize how selfish Rory was she seems like this perfect all American girl but she really isn’t she might seem like an angle but when someone does something to her they always tend to put the blame on someone else expect her and if she is arguing with someone she’s so stubborn and always has to be right and Paris is a very realistic person and open minded she might be annoying but I like how other people don’t seem to have the guts to put Rory in her place or let it slide and thats why Paris is the perfect rival in the show a rival and a caring friend.
