Gilomen Clutch Kit Install & Clutch Alignment Polaris Pro XP 4

I installed a Gilomen clutch kit on my personal '22 Polaris Pro XP 4. I have previously installed the lowest gear reduction availabe using Polaris parts and was looking for some improvements in the clutching. I also give a few tips along the way for general light inspection of the clutches as well how I inspect the belt alignment.

After a year since you changed everything how do you like? Currently I have Assassin with a level 2 Dyno with Trinity stage 5 exhaust and 35” Zillas shimmed once need to check how you did good point!! Had Gilomen in my General engaged great but traded in to quick to really judge. But tired of the belt slipping and cost to replace your thoughts

I've put many miles on it since the install. No regrets, or wish It did this or that thoughts to date. The CVT systems have their drawbacks and upsides like everything I guess. Biggest thing I encourage people to do is keep them blown out more often than what you'd think.

Do you have any experience with the Boondocker weights I like the fact that you can adjust them without taking the weights out

@gatornation I have never installed that brand. I always enjoy reading and watching what manufactures/vendors are coming out with. I've seen some of the kits that you can adjust while the weights are in place. For me... I like the magnets over the screw type adjustment. Yes you have to work a little harder to change the weight, however for me personally once it's set, its set. Meaning there is zero change of a screw backing out of the weight. Rare I understand, but that how my mind works. I also feel there may be just a little more adjustability with the multi magnet approach. May a vendor will send me a kit and I'll try it out who knows.
