This generation of players don't deserve to be no all-star. They should cancel the game for a few years and let these players go without having all-star as an accolade. If they don't respect the game they shouldn't have the title. Instead, invite the top 8 scorers to a 1v1 tournament. Winner takes home 5 million, losers get nothing. 8 players scoring to 24. Remove the Allstar game it self. Expand the in-season Tournament to 8 in-group games (1 Home, 1 Road vs each team in your group), and those games don't count for the regular season. Regular season, 74 games, 8 in-season Tournament games. For Example, next season's In-Season Tournament. This era of players is too overpaid and $$ is more important than the game itself. It's like what Charles Barkley said, it's a shame that you need to motivate millionaires to play. They are all already getting paid a ton after the last TV contract, why isn't putting together a good game for the FANS enough? I think the 500K works because a lot of these guys grind for the young players or two way contract guys. That almost puts more pressure on the stars. Someone like Andre Jackson Jr. He makes 1.8 million. 500K is more than a quarter of his salary. There's no wonder he was picking up Shai full court. In the All-Star game most of those guys are on max deals. If anything, it motivates the sophomores to go out and win. I think having them in there is crucial because they make way less than all-stars. What's also interesting is Victor will probably make it as an all-star. Do they make him play for his sophomore team? Or does he get to be in the draft pool? So it has some flaws. Idk. IT would be nice if we didn't have to think of something like this. I think what would be fun is a team world vs. team USA game. I think that might get chippy tbh.

Gil if you don't want them to have young guys in the game because its disrespectful then maybe the guys who are actually all stars should treating the game respectfully like the past legends did instead of treating it like a JV practice.
