My Grandfather returned to Bugle our home village in 1918..I returned to Bugle and area in 2018...Had fish and chips in Mevagissey at the famous The Fisherman's Chippy....Look forward to my next trip home.....

Thanks for the heads up about the Fisherman’s Chippy. Will check it out when we stay in Mevagissey in May. My Cornish ancestor was a tin miner as well. Came from Penzance. This will be my second visit to Cornwall, first to Mevagissey. Cheers!

Interesting. A lot moved abroad to mine. My G-G-Granduncle emigrated to Colorado in 1870 to try his luck at gold and became quite well established in Telluride with his family. Family history if fascinating stuff.
