Weston gotta go in for a quick sniff of the air from the air unit. Ps: you might wanna consider cutting open famous fashion boots (Margiela Tabis, SLP Wyatts) to see how they’re made. It would be a nice fresh (and expensive) wave of content from the channel, and the Dior AW07 “navigate” combat boots might be a decent start; they’re clearly fashion boots and advertised as fashion boots, but they’re still a pair of “combat” boots. Therefore, seeing how they were made and whether they met the standard of a pair of standard combat boots would be nice. Plus, there aren’t much content made about these boots, so your video (if it happens) would attract attention pretty well, imo.

I pretty much only wear air max 1s or 90s. You've always been able to get them in various colourways, and even design your own colourway. I have some air max 1s in colours that I chose, right down to the inside colour of the bubble. I just like the shape of them. The last few years it's been getting harder to find them though, and they've been getting more expensive. Nike uk seems to love selling them to golfers now. They're a great sneaker for £70, but nobody needs to be paying 150 for them, and they don't need a re-release when they've always been available.

Nike was not the first one to have an air cushioned sole in a running shoe. Finnish brand Karhu - yes, the same company that sold then-small Adidas it's three stripes - did the first running shoes with air cushioned heels. They also made air cushioned basketball shoes later. Karhu's air sole running shoe predates Nike by at least one year - Karhu released it's shoes in 1976 while Nike released their first shoe (as a limited release for Honolulu marathon) in 1978, having started to research the technology in 1977. Karhu was also the first company to use Nylon as a running shoe material. Nowadays Karhu is more of a fashionable, hipster directed brand, but it was for a considerable time on the cutting edge of sports shoe technology. You might want to look into that.

@Nemioke Жыл бұрын
@@tyarnold4088 Oh, I do too, I did not post that to discredit Nike in any way. I am quite fond of Nike's shoes and wear them daily in my sports hobbies (outside that it's dress shoes, due to being involved with fashion & bespoke industry as a tailor and a designer). I just think that the Karhu story - with its undeniable firsts - is also something that is often not heard. I played basketball back in the 80's wearing Karhu Harlems (and Air Jordans), partied wearing Adidas and have run & skated through more Nikes than I care to remember. I just think that, as Rose Anvil is doing excellent job sharing sneaker history, he could check into that. After all, Beastie Boys wore them in one point and the brand has had quite an effect.

@@appelscha23 I've got 3 pairs of them. I'd say they lift about 1.5". I'm really curious about the quality of the SC vs the Max 1. There are a lot of people that think the Max 1 is superior quality because of the pricing, but at least the SC has real leather. I do think the Max 1 looks better, but the SC is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. I think people have hyped the original for so long that they've created this myth that. the original is better than it really is.

Keep up the series! I recently picked up my first two pairs of the Air Max 1. They’re both “premium” editions with actual suede and nubuck. I’m pretty sure the leather is synthetic, but it’s at least plastic coated. $180 retail for the premium versions is STEEP. There are sales and buying them lightly used will knock off $30-$50+. The arch support was a happy surprise.

Love Air Max 1's. They are still my goto sneaker. I was 13 when the Nike Air Max 90's dropped in 1990 and i wanted some so bad. Begged and saved and got 'em. Then a year later in 91 Nike dropped the Nike AIr Max 180 and my mind was blown!!! I though Air Max 180's were the coolest thing EVER. The few (rich) kids in school that had 180's would put them on in the playground at recess and it would gather a crowd. 180's were like spaceships. It would of got less attention if you turned up to school in a Lamborghini with a supermodel.
