So shocked at how nice those New Balances look. I’m also surprised by the price on them, somehow didn’t realize new balance wasn’t cheap.

At first your feet are weak but they gain more strength and balance over time ....... The balls of my feet hurt due to minimal padding and my calf muscles felt more engaged in my daily activities but then after a while you feel more nimble and flexible

In Quebec we have no fault law where you cannot sue a driver for an accident. It was adopted during René Lesvesque era. Strangely this semingod politician was an alcoolic who nearly killed his mistress during a drunk driving incident.

Don't buy ANY shoes or boots from Walmart! That's what started my foot problems 27 years ago, and now I'll probably never have normal feet again!

Don’t know about vibrams, but I’m from Hawaii where we wear slippers/flip-flops a lot. They’re cheaper than vibrams and have their own benefits not associated with wearing shoes.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn were boondockers we wore in the Navy in the 70's. In the mid 2000's I believe, I was installing irrigation here in the Florida panhandle. Work mate came in one day with a tall, laced, "leather" black boot from Walmart...$20. I went out that night and bought a pair. The 2nd most comfortable shoe I've ever worn.

My then-girlfriend, later wife, and I each bought the other a North Face item. I got a down filled vest, she got a jacket. This was in the early 70s when we attended college at Western State in Gunnison, Colorado. We each still have them. These are the old brown label items made here in the US. Show some wear, but still in good shape.

I have these boots. These were great except the waterproof performance is not on par with other GTX boots I've had. I got them for half off though. These at full retail is a bit of stretch

I absolutely love Belleville boots. For the price of 109$-ish for steel toe it’s hard to beat. I wore the same set as an Infantry Marine for 7 years. They’re still my go to brand today

I'm not a fan of this stuff. For the trail running I prefer La Sportiva Akyra or Garmont Nemesis for rocky trail. If I want to walk barefoot on the natural surface that doesn't look dangerous, I have no issues of doing this without any shoes. So they are quite useless in my opinion. Perhaps I don't understand them as I never ever had problems with my feet.

I used to work at Walmart in the frozen/dairy department. I had some cheap “boots” I bought at Burlington coat factory that completely came undone in the middle of my shift, so I walked to the boot section and grabbed a pair of those Herman Survivor steel toe boots. (I didn’t want steel toes, but that’s all I could find in my size.) The next day when I clocked off, I took my boots off and found my socks completely soaked in yellow puss. I threw them back in the box, got a pair of Rockys on sale, and that was that. There’s some cheaper boots out there that get the job done and are still quite comfortable for a while, but at a bare minimum, I always spend at least $100 on a pair of boots.
