The stroke color is most likely white, you need to change it to black, and then it will be visible

Is 1000 by 1000 pixels a standard? Wouldn't it be more save to go with higher resolution like 4000 by 4000? Is there any reason behind it?

I use smaller dimensions/ resolution just in case some of the people watching have entry level machines. You can scale it up if you know your machine won't start freezing. Also note that the color mode is RGB for all tutorials and templates I post/ share.

yeah but how do you make the design look natural on the shirt? like how do you make it conform to the ubeven surfaces of the shirt?

Hi if it's the thumbnail you are referring to I used mockups to show what the design would look like when printed on a t-shirt or Hoodie
