I was sitting in a Ft. Myers hotel Starbucks this morning and this song came over the speaker while waiting for my breakfast sandwich. I was in shock...one of my favorite GB albums. Amazing!!! 🎸🍳

Got the cd during a turbulent time in my life, and it got me thru it. Pity it never became the big hit comeback album it should have been.

Wonderful song. I have noticed that Major Lodge Victory is not one of their most popular records among fans. Nevertheless, it is my second favorite after New Miserable Experience. I'm totally into it and this song in particular is one of the reasons why.

A guy nicknamed "The Judge" played harp on this. I met him and Robin Wilson in Illinois at our town fest and it was amazing. Robin was a gentleman in asking my name and I hung out waiting for an hour for the guy who stole my heart in the early 90's with his great heartbreak songs. I hope he reads this and realizes what a great human being Mr. Wilson is. The moment was priceless. I scanned the crowd for hours then looked over and saw Robin. I appreciate this moment in my life to share mine with his. Take care, peeps!

I've met Robin a few times...totally down to earth dude. One time before a show I asked him, "Are you taking any requests tonight?"...he said, "What do you want to hear?"...I half jokingly said "Flaming Moe's" from a Simpsons episode (knowing that he was a fan)....sure enough, halfway through the show...he breaks into an acapella "Flaming Moe's". I had these VIP seats up front with drink service....I walked right to the stage and handed him a beer to thank him. Great night :)
