Nice video! I feel I've heard everything one might wish to know about the Gin. As a footnote, the sound recording outside was also good. And it's quite all right, Carlo. I, too, saw myself using the pedals when playing an auto simulator! (and leaning left and right at tight turns).

Which Carrera do u refer to in this vid? Carrera or the Carrera Plus.. I guess you would have said plus if u were talking about the plus. Having just put the plus lines on mine im just curious what one specifically ur talking about. Thanks

Hi Nitris! :) I'm referring to the Carrera in this video. As I mention in my expanded Bonanza 2 review ( flybubble.com/blog/gin-bonanza-2-paraglider-review ) I flew the Carrera extensively, and really liked it. It just should've been released as an EN C wing, in my opinion. I think the Carerra+ (great wing! should've maybe been named the Carerra- or Carrera Easier?) has slightly lower pilot demands than the Carerra, especially on the ground, but should still have been released as a C wing. The Explorer (another really great wing!) just about squeezes into the high B class (what we call 'XC Class' flybubble.com/shop/wings/xc-paragliders ) in my opinion. Hope this helps! :)

@@flybubblecarlo Thanks for the reply.. I agree the name of the plus should be a minus and the carerra should totally have been a c rating. I few the carerra around a bit and decided to tame it down a "plus", as I have had quite a bit of time off flying.. I will turn my plus back into the carrera at some point. I do prefer the plus risers for ground handling. Thanks for the review I really enjoy your stuff.

flybubble.com/blog/gin-bonanza-2-paraglider-review and yes, we plan to fly it against Sigma10 this season. Sigma10 has more precise, agile handling; Bonanza2 might have a slight edge into wind, it seems to convert little bumps into lift

I have one arriving soon. I'll be interesting to compare it with the Sigma 10 I flew most of last summer. Currently flying a GTO2 (after a short spell on the LM6). The S10 was OK but a bit of a truck - not that agile (way less than the GTO 2 - which was better than the LM6). I was a bit light on the S10 though. I'm hoping for more 'edge' and attitude on the B2.

The carrera should never have been sold as a B. Everyone knew it was a C in any kind of active air. This glider looks like a rebel with plastic rods

it wasn't 'sold as' a B, it was a sport class wing that they designed such good collapse recovery into that it got EN B ratings on its reinflation tests. Pilots didn't listen to the manufacturer's description, they just went A B C. There's a lot more to good wing matching than A B C.
