I'm actually a Clinical Therapist and I've been married for 8 years and counting...I DO NOT give relationship/marital advice as marriage is hard (Amen) and EVERY marriage is different and nuanced. I completely agree with speaking to singles about being happy, healthy, and whole because I don't want to lie. Marriage is very difficult & not for the weak! There are seasons in marriage so buckle up!

Great point and I find it's usually the people who know a lot that a more careful with their advice versus people who know a little and talk big and loud. My therapist said she doesn't give relationship advice in individual counseling because she wants both people in front of her to be able to assess the issue fully.
