I am 42 and I could literally overdose on nostalgia. The 90's was the last decade where there was still an innocence to life. They had the best movies, tv, and music. I sometimes sit and just close my eyes and go back to this time on my mind...just immersing myself in all the memories. I cry a lot just yearning for those days that I can never get back. The world is such a 💩show today and I just wish I could be a kid again. Just wanting to relive all those precious times 😢. I thank God for KZbin...one of the only online platforms I really look at. Long live the 90's !!!! 👍👍👍💜💜💜

@@Scorpious187 You are SO right! I had this whole album. Ya know back when we actually bought whole albums ☺️. I used to swim and dance by the pool with my best friend to this album. The whole thing was just happy dance music. The music today is TERRIBLE 🤮💩. I know every generation thinks theirs was the best. But the 90's was the last decade before the whole technology thing really started taking off and clouding everything. We lived without social media and widespread phone usage and we survived. And when was the last time you heard someone say they hated the 90's. Very rare 😛

Took a bit but I put in “1990’s Song Ohh…Ohhh little bit” and Gina G was the result. I remember having the single on cassette, never bought the whole album. I remember how uplifting this song was, still is, not singing, but dancing my shoulders on those 4 hour car rides from college to home and back. I used to hear this on the radio on the school bus every single day during the 90's, but I'm about to get weird here so follow along. I'm from Green Bay, WI, USA, home of the NFL's Green Bay Packers. In the 1996 NFL season, the Packers made it to and won Super Bowl 31, the Packers 1st championship win since Super Bowl 2, 29 years. There is a Highlight film of that season, and during the Super Bowl portion, you can hear the first couple seconds of this song! I've been trying to remember this song and find this song FOREVER! I finally FOUND IT!

I got this melody stuck in my head for at least ten years by now and couldn't remember who sang it! I even sequenced the intro synth part in a MIDI sequencer. So I pulled out Shazam and tried identifying, of course it hit many other songs. I had to go through several keys and tempos until Shazam finally recognized the song.

That's dedication. I can't say I wouldn't do it myself.

mikosoft why didn't you just google the words from the chorus? or did you only remember the melody?

Gary Jules That's right, I only remembered the synth intro. Not a word could pop into my mind. It would be too easy, wouldn't it :D
