INGREDIENTS ⤵️
Great Northern Beans In the can or jar
I’m using 4 -48 oz jars Great Northern beans
If you use the can get 6- or more cans depending on how many you want to feed
Smoked turkey wings or Legs
Ham Hock (Optional )
Ham (optional)
1 onion
1 Red bell pepper
1 Green Bell pepper
1 Garlic Clove
Salt pepper garlic powder onion powder
Red pepper Flakes (pinch sugar optional)
Chicken powder
1 or 2 32 oz chicken broth depending on how much beans your making
Water
I will be making jiffy corn bread you’ll need that and the ingredients to make it or pre made corn bread
Rice I use boil in a bag rice takes 11 minutes to cook

And if you have buttermilk, it's really good from back in the day. Dip cornbread in that buttermilk, too. a good way ti use that buttermilk, as well. Which was from my grand parents.

Love your shows please keep my family in prayer. Also in my area we take pinto beans add some bacon grease into beans cook them after they finish cooking , crumble cornbread bread into bowl then pour the bean with some of the liquid over the beans , it's not healthy but delicious serve with fried potatoes and fried green tomatoes .

Good afternoon, it’s Sunday and I made your recipe. I didn’t have any of the meats you used but I had a large hunk of Italian Pancetta…give it a different taste since it’s not smoked. But…I have ham, beans & rice “Italian Style” so I do have a bottle of smoked flavoring, I’m going to add some to my beans 😊 It came out delicious! I have a huge pot of it too TY ❤
