You stitch to the end, then, push the back button and stitch about three stitches backward and then finish to the edge again. Cut the threads close and you are done. If you'd like to see that, watch the last Janome Sew Mini video here on my KZbin channel

Just found this video. Love the project but I cut the squares in 1/2" squares like you said at 1:04 but they are too small to fit across. Yours look great. What did I do wrong?

how did you deal with the last threads when you sew around the edge as a boarder???

I've actually used real fabric from my stash of scraps. It gives a nice texture.
