I have been sewing for about 68 years. The very first video that I saw of yours I learned so very much about the thread! I sew mostly clothes as I started a business , like a million years ago, sewing for larger women. One lady was going on a cruise and wanted a sexy bathing suit. Word spread from there and it just kind of exploded. I am retired now and only sew for who I want to sew for. I am going to sew a great grand baby quilt for my great grand babies. So I am going to "binge" watch all your videos. Thank you so much for your videos. They are so informative that I have sent your video link to many of my friends that quilt. Some of them professionally. I do not do longarm, but they do. Thank you again. Deborah

This was like a mystery movie, waiting for each of your magic steps. So much fun and no hair pulling and screaming. I have done the "old" method with lots of waste and lackluster results. As always I appreciate your calm voice that always carries such notes of joy which gives me hope for my project. You are a great teacher.

Wow! Feels like it is perfect for a vest pattern with piped or flanged side and shoulder seams. Also any ombre fabric would be fascinating to try with this pattern. Thank you so much for sharing, and I can hardly wait to try it. P.S. Before, I always did a braid, instead of a herringbone, with half hexagons. I like the ‘zipper magic’ of using logs (rectangles) instead. 😎🌱🌿💚

Dannnnnng, this is incredible! I love the look of heringbone but winced at the thought of all the waste. What a fantastic solution! Thanks so much. This will be fun to try!

Thank you for all the work you have put into this pattern. This zipper quilt turned into one of my go-to quilts. I scale it down (5”X18” pieces) for baby quilts, and scale it up by adding more chevrons and more rows of chevrons, for a wonderful wedding gift. I ordered more fabric to make it again for a gift, so thank you again for your pattern.
