Good video. Question is this. I currently have LAN setup throughout the house. You mentioned connecting to the WAN point? Should I be connecting the 2 routers via my LAN points instead?

For conecting them by wire, it will need to mesh them as you did by pressing the button? Or they mesh automaticaly when conecting the cable, in the case where you have the cable between the 2 zones already. I guess they also have a dedicated app for managing them like tplink deco does?

No need bro, if you have set them up wirelessly and you realize that you need to use cables, just cable them both as they already configure itself, they also have “huawei ai app” to manage it. I did not show it here because I just wanna show how easy it could be setup for mesh network.

I have this AX3 router, too. But *I'm not quite satisfied with it...* I always use it in WiFi Repeater mode. In this mode, I CAN'T CHANGE the name (and also the password) of the 5 GHz network. I don't know why it can't. Does this router not have that capability or is there something I'm missing out? Another annoying thing is that all of the settings I do(changing network name, password etc.) are gotten resetted whenever the router is unplugged, turned off(by its power button) or in a case of an outage. Does yours do the same resetting stuff? I'd be very glad if you can help.

Yes , it worked with me with dual and quad . Worked even with older version of the router that only support wifi5 .. all worked together smoothly

It is not necessary to press the connection button on both routers, just on the main one and it works

The light on the second router is green but it only connects me to the 2.4ghz network when I am close and how can I add it to the AI life app?

I have a PFSense and three ax3 7200 routers. Put everyone as ACCESS POINT, turnoff the lan dhcp, ncf and set the same Link+ password and split both networks 2.4/5 all with the same. Each one of the 3 are connected on their wan. Seems working, but i can't connect via network or app - if i connect with a cable on a notebook, i can access admin.

I had the same issue, I had to reset the second router and kept them very close to each other then pushed the bottom and done in a few seconds
