Hello Everyone. Today we are going to cook another budget friendly ulam and I assure you that you are going to love this dish. I know a lot of you are coconut cream lover that’s why I decided to cook Ginataang Chicken. In this recipe, I’m gonna use native chicken. Native chicken takes longer time to cook unlike the ordinary chicken from the grocery store, that’s why I suggest that you have to cook the native chicken in a pressure cooker if you have one, but it’s okay if you don’t have pressure cooker in your kitchen.
Ginataang Native Chicken
Ingredients:
1 whole native chicken cut into small pieces
1 big onion, chopped
8 cloves garlic, minced
2 thumb ginger, julliened
3 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 tbsp ground black pepper
1/2 tbsp salt
2 tbsp fish sauce
2 cups kakang gata/ coconut cream
2 cups 2nd extract of coconut
1 cup plain water
3 long green chillies
1 large red bell pepper, julliened
1/2 tsp seasoning granules(optional )
