Do you know if the aluminum bezel on the OR1 can be changed to the ceramic bezel? I got acetone or some chemical on my bezel and have two light spots. Wear it all day at work and one watch I do have has a ceramic and it still looks flawless.

Very cool watch, enjoy! I also have a bit of a custom Ginault with a red and gold aluminum bezel. It is very difficult to find another brand that will let you customize for no extra cost like Ginault does

I’m still waiting on my no date aluminum bezel OR2. Now that I’m seeing this, I may buy a date with blue ceramic bezel as well. I personally prefer a white date wheel on this watch, but the black date wheel looks fantastic. Nice pick-up.

Hi Joshua, great video thanks for making it. There is not many videos out there in the wild of the new blue ceramic. Yours is beautiful ! Double beautiful with that negative/reverse date window. Two questions-1) will you do a follow up review of the OR2 in-depth please 🙏 2) I take it the OR2 knocks the socks off your Steinharts in terms of quality, fit and finish or would you disagree and say the Steinhart is pretty close.? Again thanks 👍👌👌

Yes I plan on a more in depth review. I just wore the Steinhart today to remind me on its finishing. Yes the Ginault is finished slightly nicer, but it should be - it does cost approximately twice as much. In addition, the Ginault oyster bracelet is truly top notch! The Steinhart is no slouch though - I’m keeping both 😆.

Had one I didn’t like it that much . As one of the first made about five years ago. Couldn’t get over the fact was a copy of the Sub . And people see it and said you have a Folex! But to each his own. I bought a new seamaster in the end and was pleased with it.

True - to each his own. I honestly like talking about the watch if someone sees it and inquires. I haven’t received any snobbery comments yet. I like having an American Assembled watch with the vintage Rolex homage case size / design. There are MANY other watch companies that produce a similar type of watch for consumers to consider - I just think that Ginault does it slightly better. And Assembled in the USA 🇺🇸 is a bonus. A Seamaster is definitely on my short list someday for sure 👍🏼. I hope that you enjoy it in good health.

I waited a long time because I waited for the blue ceramic bezel to be worked out… the wait is a few weeks to a month or two at this point I believe. It’ll depend on what variation you order. It’s longer than a week or so but not unreasonable considering the quality and knowledge that it is coming from a very small boutique shop. I highly recommend it 👍🏼

Hey Josh - I just ordered my Bluesy OR2 yesterday - it should come oct/nov :) One question: Is it a microphone issue, or does the movement really sound so sandy? Maybe some lube would be great? Creepy for a new watch:/ but i will see when in comes in:)

OR and OR2 were supposed to be a homage to older Rolex watches. Putting a ceramic bezel insert there is no sense... it losing that vintage vibe. Moreover, the blue color is a huge disappointment to me. John aka Charles has been working on it for a couple of years. In the end, he ended with a blue that is not sharp, crisp, and juicy at all. It's more like grey or ghostly. I have no idea what was the point of deciding on such a poor color stylistic. There is also another thing I do not like about this watch. The negative date window. In general, you've chosen the worst possible combo for this watch. That's only my opinion. The unboxing and you thought were well done. I just wanted to share with mine thoughts. I hope you do not mind.
