This is my best Gin song! It’s been 35 years I have loved this band.

So resolute. So vulnerable. How does Robins songwriting always strike a perfect balance? If this isn’t their best record, it’s the easiest one to listen to.

This is my favorite of all the Gin Blossom albums. PLEASE try to get it on streaming sites - Spotify, etc. It would be great to listen to it there!

you clearly don’t know the history of the band in this album lol. They’ve been trying to find the master tapes to this album for the last 16 years. The label that they recorded this album for went out of business in 2008 and all of its assets were sold off. Nobody that was signed to that label knows what happened to their albums. Vertical Horizon also lost an album that they have been searching for for years. That’s the bad thing about an anonymous liquidation sale… There’s no way to find out who has this album and until it is properly sold back to the gin blossoms they can’t touch it. They can’t put it on streaming services because they don’t have the legal right to. they can’t press it on vinyl because they don’t have the master tapes. It’s just a ghost. so you can listen to it on KZbin or you can spin the actual CD if you have it, but those are the only two options sadly

Been a Gin Blossoms fan since I was just a little guy, and still love the classics. But this song just might be my favorite of all time.

Sometimes I listen to great songs and tire of them because I play them too much...this song I could listen to one BILLION times in a row and not get tired of it.

Was never a big GB fan and then my Pandora played this song and I STOPPED was I was doing and just listened.. THIS is a great song! Was a little pissed off I couldn’t find it on iTunes, Amazon music or any other streaming service…. Someone has dropped the ball!!

they recorded this for a really shitty record. Label that went out of business and now no one knows where the master tapes are. It can’t be released on streaming services or for digital purposes because the band does not legally own it, nor have the right to touch it. They put it up on KZbin here illegally in hopes that whoever does own it would come forward and try to sue them so that they could try and buy it back from them. So you can listen to the CD or you can listen to it here, but those are your only option unfortunately and after 16 years of waiting I don’t think it’s gonna happen anytime soon

@@taylorh4480this album is so good. Soundtrack of my Senior year of high school. With better distribution this stuff should have been in regular rotation on stations like Cities 97

If this had been the leadoff single from Major Lodge Victory, they would've tied or bettered New Miserable Experience's success.
@taylorh4480 Жыл бұрын
The lead off single was just as good as this song. The only reason they didn’t get any radio play was because they were signed to a shitty record label they had no money behind them. songs don’t get played on the radio because they are good… Songs get played on the radio because record labels pay a lot of money to programmers to put them on the radio… And then the record label went out of business less than a year after the album came out and they couldn’t take the album to another label or reissue it because the master tapes were sold off in an anonymous acquisition sale and have been missing for 16 years🤷🏼♂️

@@taylorh4480 Matter of opinion. Robin's vocals sounded higher on "Learning the Hard Way." Vocally, and Scott and Jesse's guitars sounded more in line with their second and third albums on this track.

@@taylorh4480the lead single was solid. It was just as catchy as “Had a Bad day” “Cable Car” and KT Tunstall’s debut single. The guitar itself was as dynamic and energetic as younger bands like Fall Out Boy and All American Rejects. With a better label, they coulda reached a whole new generation of fans.
