I grew up in a family of hunters and this brought back memories of hunting seasons past! Although most everyone was 'old school' at the time and where I lived in central PA. Talk about great meat for the freezer - big whitetail deer who fed off the corn fields - plus we also got a lot of squirrel and rabbit for the stew pot as well.

😂 I'm pretty sure a felon can't use a crossbow because it has a trigger mechanism. Im not a felon so I don't know for sure but my cousin is and thats what he says. He just bow hunts now. Edit: I hunt with my SKS or my 303. The 303 is a little much but there's always a hell of a blood trail to follow 😂

My guess would be that if the crossbow doesn't fit the legal description of a firearm, they'd still be allowed to own and hunt with it, baring something in their legal record that prohibited owning one. Like they went on a crime spree with a crossbow or something like that.
