if you don't have mini pony beads, a good alternate is using perler beads! i used them and it worked really well. great tutorial btw ^_^

I looped one side of the string through the big pony bead after the last mini bead. You can add beads to both ends of the string to make your single and then tie the knot after putting one end of the string through the same bead on the opposite side.

You just take a piece of string and put it through the pony bead after the last mini pony bead. you add your beads to both sides of the string and then string through the corresponding pony bead on the other side to tie the knot.
