Absolutely poke holes in the tape if you want a fully fused & full melt. If you don't, you'll get blow outs because you taped one side closed. If you don't fully melt a side, there's no need to poke holes in the tape. You can test this out & you'll find that heat blow outs will happen if you don't poke holes in the tape. Not everyone likes a full melt so if you don't do that, no worries about poking holes.

Thanks for this! We did a 3,500 piece Batman last night and had all kinds of issues because it took 6 pegboards. It was not a great outcome but we salvaged it rather than just throwing it out.

I used to watch you yeaaaars ago and you taught me so much. Recently I wanted to make another flower peyote stitch but there’s no videos on KZbin teaching how to! Would you make one in the future? ❤️

Not sure if it will burn or melt. You can try. I would do a test run first.

The beads get overly melty and it make the image uneven and blotchy. Kinda smeared.
