GINGER.... I am so excited. My first painting sold and it was this adorable " Little Red Wagon ".... I am so excited. And if I could get to Texas... I would hug you so tight !! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, YOU HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE AND BROUGHT SO MUCH JOY INTO IT ! Gosh, I am excited. I never thought this would happen. A dream of painting from my teenage years, pushed deep down inside of me for so many years and always told that it was stupid to think I could paint and crazy to think that someone would buy one.. my wonderful exhusband...if he could see me now. LOL... Thank You Ginger! Thank You.

I remember a spelling bee I had to go to for grade 4 class , the teacher had chosen me , I was french but new how to write better in English , I lost by 1 word , , I was tired cause the other student a guy in other 4th grader from another school , after 3 words we always tied , so I am not sure if the judges knew I was french , finally they always give a sentence and then the word for you to spell , well the word was deer, and I wrote dear , so I lost by 1 word grrrr, but I won second place and got a pen lol

We do not always have traceables but the ones we have can be found on our website www.gingercooklive.gallery under resources or you can just go to my Pinterest page www.pinterest.com/gingercooklive/video-lesson-library2-vll/ and look under gardens in the Video lesson library #2. Open image in a new tab and print.

"Who the #$&% is Jackson Pollock?" (Is the title of the documentary Ginger recommends 57 minutes into this video for those that were trying to remember like myself) ☺️. I rented it from Netflix and now Gingers daughter Cinnamon, "TheArtSherpa" channel, just did a tutorial on how to paint like Jackson Pollock using a jar of string gel. Cool little connection between the 2 channels I thought. If it weren't for Ginger I, A) Would never have seen the documentary or learned about Jackson Pollock. And B) probably never would have even attempted to try painting like him but now I think I might actually try to do it sometime. The link for Cinnamons tutorial on how to paint like Jackson Pollock his kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4rJlmuKbN-Ge9E (Wanted to share with others in case they thought it was fun too 🎨👩🏻🎨)

what about dating your paintings? Do you ever date them. I have a habit of putting the date under my signature. Just wondering
@gingercooklive7 жыл бұрын
No I always date on the back. When you first start painting you should date them as it will help you see your progress. But when you are trying to sell your artwork, customers look at dates like spoiled food....if it was that great why did you not sell it 3 years ago? or something like that. So I date on the back.Romam numbers are good as most people cannot read them. If asked I will Always say when I painted it. we are not trying to mislead as not loose a sale out of a poor understanding. For instance you may decide to keep a painting for a few years and then sell it... all kinds of reasons why you may sell a picture at a later time then when you painted it. Some art shows only want art you painted in the last year or two...
