GingerGM is both miles ahead of us yet somehow extremely relatable. I think its the combination of wild attacking play with fantastic attacks, mixed with hilariously scrappy time scrambles and senile mouse slips.

We should start a crowd sourcing campaign to buy Simon a gaming mouse. His mouse sounds like one of those white ones from the 90s

I hate playing guys like in that last game that just try to trade all the pieces of ASAP. Like do they even want to play chess?
@JCivX
@JCivX Жыл бұрын
I don't think that's completely fair. He clearly had a prepared opening and a game plan that he executed well. He wasn't swapping for just the sake of it like some noobs.

I wonder this all the time. Do they even enjoy the game? I just was playing a guy who went for that stupid hippo opening but didn't try any counterplay, just wanted to build some kind of fortress and win on time. How is that fun?
@adamgreener3475
@adamgreener3475 Жыл бұрын
Well trading pieces suits blacks position there? Whites space advantage benefits from the queens being on and also the structure means that blacks light square bishop will be a lot better than whites in an ending.

Maybe you should politely ask your opponents to play the way you want them to play.

Hi Jimmy. I'm sorry to say this would be a scam and nothing to do with me. 🤬 Some bastard has been imposing as me on my channel and elsewhere. Please do not give any personal details! I would never ask. I am trying to report and get rid of these scammers. If you spot any then please do send a link to simon@gingergm.com.

@@stormstaticsleep I've spent hundreds of hours watching and re-watching his blitz and longer games as well as his chessable courses on the Jobava London and the Black Lion. My favorite posts are the ones where he plays the same two openings for W & B over and over so I can see what he would do in different situations. But, yes, I do know he loves playing different openings in almost every game...then he gets frustrated when he loses on time when he gets behind on his clock because he can't remember the opening lines. 🙂
