I admire your patience. I own a VSETT 11+ and I modified it with a complete set of battery, controller, wiring and dashboard from a Zero 11x. I could never ride it this slow for so long. I’m always riding it like I stole it. I just don’t have what it takes to ride such a fast scooter with such low speed for such long time.

Your Editing skills have taken a giant leap forward, your a fast learner. I always appreciate the -DB on the Mic so my ears dont bleed also! Great content also! I like the added on house prices and map of your route thats clever. What would be cool for your videos: When you explain something say the first bit, ride 5 minutes say the next bit and so on. In the final cut when you snip your full explanation together you have travelled far and lots of different scenes during. That is Casey Neistat master level! Keep the videos coming:) Thanks from England.

the lg or panasonic diference from generic battery is not about voltage or range its only about the number of charging cicles until the range is afected generic have around 100r-200r 500b and lg has around 300r 800b-1000b and panasonic have around 300r 1200b-1400b cicles and the main reason the generic battery has lower range is because most cases recicled cells are used and the maximum amps is not 20 before the cells start to overheat its around 10-12amps and the average controller draws 25amps this zero 11x draws 45amps for each motor so better cells must be used no generic option on this because they break on first use r - range afected around 90% and with each 100 cicles drops aditional 5% b - break for best choice for extra battery is get a identic battery as the scooter has and mount it on handle bar for efective double the range but connect it with a switch to the same controllers and keep the charging plug separate to charge both battery at once each with its own charger, yes its expensive but its the best option to get as the voltage is same and the controllers will not do any diference betwen them when 1 is at 20% and you switch to the other one that is 80%+ charged and just keep rolling

That is something that is going to my mind. The extended battery i mean. I will buy a scooter. For a longer time i had my choice made up. And that was for the 11X. In Holland there is one reseller and he has it not in stock at the moment. This also goes for the Zero 10X. I also like the Wolf Warrior. Not long ago i found out that it is possible to carry an extra battery. The 11X is 72 volts and the 10X and the Wolf are 60 volts. Both have a decent speed and are a little bit cheaper then the 11X. But the price of the extra battery for the 72 volt system is a almost double the price for the 60 volts versions. The price difference is almost 700.00 euro. And f.e. a Wolf Warrior with an extra battery could bring me with normal riding up to a 85 miles range. And this combination would save me more then 2000.00 Euro's in comparison with a Zero 11X if i would also buy an extra battery. And in Holland driving a scooter is also illegal. So driving it with 85 kph is somehow begging for the sentence " hello mr. officer, how are you?" And because most of the cops in Holland come from a family line where their grandfathers were helping the Nazi's i know at forehand that they will confiscate the scooter so their children can use it at the weekends So the use of the topspeed would be very minimal. I have to stay below 45 kph for sure. I am so jealous of you guys that you can drive these beautifull scooters anywhere you want and as hard as you want to go. In Holland the 11X will be sold only when it is hardwired so it can't go faster then 25 kph. At home home you have to dismantle it and cut some wires. I was thinking about somekind of bluetooth switch that i could have on me so i could switch it back to that max 25 kph. Otherwise i would also loose my driverlicense. Choices,choices.

Hey man do they offer extra batteries for sale that you could possibly be able to take with you on rides to get even further distance on the scooter? That would be a huge play on their part because if I can buy extra batteries that will make my trips feel even more safer so I don’t get stranded somewhere if say I want to travel further than 40 miles.
@GingerOnWheels
@GingerOnWheels 4 жыл бұрын
You could fabricate your own but they dont make them and even if they did, they would be HEAVY. You could always just bring a fast charger, or two. With 2 fast chargers pushing 10amps (arguably not great for the battery on the long term...) you can charge about 1 mile of range every 6~7 minutes of charging.
@AmorBroz
@AmorBroz 4 жыл бұрын
Ginger On Wheels I agree with your input on that. This is why I’m tempted to go the electric bike route with onyx rcr due to the longevity of the range and comfort ratio with sitting rather than standing. Not fully waterproof. There are 2 holes in the deck, as well as a seam around the brake lights that need to be sealed off with silicone or rtv. After that it should be fairly watertight but I'm not going to be the one to test that. You never know if it's 100% waterproof until it stops working.... @GingerOnWheels
@GingerOnWheels 4 жыл бұрын
NYC has some really messed up roads... The DTX has great suspension for that. Superior to the 11x out of the box, but the 11x has upgrades for a couple hundred in the suspension department that put it up there with the DTX. But the deck is less ergonomic on the DTX, very short. Also the handlebars considerably shorter. If you're a taller guy I'd go Zero 11x. Zero is lighter and easier to fold by about 5 minutes, so might be better if you need to transport it. Dtx has handlebar wiggle that needs to be remedied out of the box. Isn't hard but makes it a pain to fold and unfold later on. The DTX might be easier to find community support for, because I imagine more people own that than the X. Honestly they are both great scooters and would do the job well with plenty of power leftover. If you do go with the 11x, $50 off with code GINGER50 at RevRides as of a couple days ago. 🤘

I wonder what the range would be if you averaged between 30 and 40mph? I'm after a scooter that can easily do these speeds over a distance of 30 miles without cutting out. Do you feel any difference in acceleration when you limit the power? My Zero 8X is normally limited at 50% because of swedish laws and it cuts it around 25kp/h. Its nice that you dont have to worry about flats with the solid tyres and if you only drive it on tarmac its fantastic. I use it alot on gravel paths in the forest and cant complain until the the stones gets larger than peas, the you start to feel them. It also makes a huge difference how you set up the suspension. From factory it had a really stiff setup.

In my experience it's about the same. Some people argue that when in rear wheel drive, economy is worse because it's pushing the resistance of the rolling front wheel motor, but I've done tests in both modes and haven't seen a big difference. If anything, the opposite is true. Either way the Zero 11x beats the wolf battery all day. If I'm being honest, I was going to bit fast toward the end of the Zero 11 range test because I was getting exhausted. I bumped the speed up to about 19mph for a while. If I had been going 15mph the whole way I bet it would've been closer to 70 miles. Maybe I'll do that later on, but I'd have to split it into 2 days.

Wolf has never done more than 50 miles range with me on it. It has a 2100wh battery. Zero 11x has 2300wh. If you do 50mph on either of these scooters you blow through like 5% battery per minute. If you're looking for water resistance, maneuverability, and offroading capability then the Wolf is the winner.
