So satisfying to see the bubbles coming out! Now I can't wait to do it.

Ginger ... this is not proper. The squeezing / pressure is creating tiny effervescent bubbles. For a lever bleed your not supposed to squeeze in any brake fluid into the brake reservoir. Simply pump your lever and as the air bubble comes out, the fluid via gravity will pour in.

Another old school dirt bike trick is to pull your lever tight and put a zip tie around your lever and bars holding it tight overnight. It forces any air from the lines up to the top and gives your levers a nice firm feeling. Trust me this works.

@PBST_RAIDZ
@PBST_RAIDZ 25 күн бұрын
@@atmarammanusaya8337 1. Squeeze the brake lever as tight as you can and hold it there 2. With the other hand grab a zip tie and tie your brake lever to your handlebar 3. Let go of the brake lever and check that it can't be squeezed any further (if it can be squeezed tighten the zip tie more) 4. Leave the scooter like this overnight (give it around 8 hours) 5. The next morning cut the zip tie and squeeze the lever a few times it should feel solid

This was perfect, I'm semi lazy and after watching 2 other videos on this realized I don't even have brake pad blocks. I don't know how this method compares to the videos where they took off the brake pads and bled it from both ends of the brakes. But, I did this and mine went from barely being able to stop from going 5mph to the brakes feeling like when I got the scooter. Even if I gotta do this once a month I'm good. With this now I'm wondering why the hell the other videos showing this have so many more steps. Thanks for the video sir.

This works if the air in your lines is towards the top of the scooter. If you've got air bubbles mid line somehow, or near the bottom, then bleeding works better (but harder and more time consuming for sure)

This is the procedure that solved my problem with a weak rear brake. I tried the bleeding procedure with 2 of these syringes but that didn't solve it all. The trick is pull the brake lever while having 1 syringe connected and then add some fluid. Worked great! Thanks.

Hey man, I’ve followed the exact same method you have used 3 times now, and my front brake it STILL spongey, I cannot work out for the life of me why it’s doing it. I had a shed load of air come out and I carried on pumping the brake for a while just incase there was an air bubble further down but nope, full pressure. As soon as I put the screw back in the reservoir and pull the brake in it’s spongey again, the bolt that holds the brake line onto the front caliper was slightly loose so I bought some safety torque keys, used those to tighten the bolt and tried to bleed the brake again, but nope still no luck, I am out of ideas, any help would be appreciated 👍🏼 cheers. FYI - I have squishy brakes with a Kaboo Mantis (semi-hydraulic) with plenty of the original brake pad left and about 170 miles on it. Did brake cable adjustments and still nothing, it was either way to much or not enough. I ended up replacing the brake pads and the results are night and day. It's back to how it was when it was new. I would guess that the pad material had deteriorated to perform properly. FYI - I wrench my own vehicles, and it's stupid to think that what I did worked, but you need to try it for yourself.

Wanted to thank you sir for all your great videos. I have purchased many scooters from William and sincerely enjoy our Turbo Wheel Phaetons. With thousands of miles racked up, they have performed fantastic with range, comfort, and sheer performance across the board. I encourage anyone looking for a solid stable ride to consider the 11x since turbo wheel does not offer it in this form with the battery upgrade and nutt brakes being the main differences. It is however not one to easily transport because of its larger stable size and weight. Better suited to ride out from your house👍. Also working on custom 3d printed parts soon for it such as light holders, fender systems, front air cowlings, speaker mounts, etc....Anyhow, keep up the great work👍much appreciated by so many viewers.

Hey its Max (5309) in Seattle/Redmond. AWESOME Channel! Liked/Subscribed. I was unfamiliar with this particular domain (as I mainly frequent Vegan KZbin Channels) - but your content, technical knowledge, delivery and ...well artistry have me infatuated with the science of curing "squishy brakes"! You made oil seem as awesome as a Vegan Hemp Dressing video! ... and THAT is truly a feat! Keep up the great work and you got a FAN and I Got a New Hobby! Max

Hey MJ! Man, I completely would've forgotten someone's KZbin name that they mentioned, I'm amazed you remembered! Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you like the channel!

I have break warning light do you know how to fix it
@GingerOnWheels

There are two wires coming out of the brake lever area. One is smaller. Screw the nut counterclockwise a quarter turn. In my experience that will fix it.

I couldn't find it anywhere else... You might get lucky with a search on Alibaba for Zoom brakes, or something similar. GL.... 😔

Question Ginger is it anyway I can get empty kit from offline and get the bubbles out and reuse the fuel because my wolf warriors brand new and it's not showing any leakage of oil I've been hearing people talk about reusing it in the instruction manual it says like don't ride it until you contact the people you purchased it from so it is a no-go with taking a ride I was trying to say I had the same problem with the lock in screws on both sides coming out but that I bolt 5-18 you are a life saving if you have any information thank you so much

Theres no link to the brake kit... do you know if fluidfreerider sells the kit for the warrior 11 it's not listed on there website

I just contacted them and they gave me the kit like I said in the video. If you contact them they have spare parts for all scooters that aren't on the site. Also, there is a link to a brake kit, it's in the description to this video with bold next to it close to the top.

What are the "tiny little tubes with brass tips" acutely called? My rear break and this problem so I purchased a break bleed kit bit the attachments are to big and don't fit. I tried to improvise with a small rubber o ring but got no air bubbles to come out so I obviously didn't fill it up and my break is still way to soft. P.s I have been watching the chanel for some time and have shared it to all my scooter buddy's, all the best 🙂

Man, I wish I knew. Even the kits are hard to find, if it weren't for fluidfreeride I'm not sure I would've been able to find one so easily. I would imagine the technical name is something like 'threaded reservoir adapter' or something along those lines.

My brake is stuck. It doesn't open up unless I take it off the rotor and pry it open and if I pump the brake handle again it will close but won't open up again. Will this method work on mine?
@GingerOnWheels
@GingerOnWheels 3 жыл бұрын
First I would try replacing the fluid in the line, then try replacing the lever, then the caliper if that doesn't work.

@@cilva7able in this situation I think it would be preferable to bleed the line and replace the fluid entirely.
