Why this video is so underrated? The trick is good.

I love this video! I would love to make an argyle brush or a gingham turned on a 45 degree angle. I cannot get it to work. I have a sneaky feeling it is so simple that I am not getting it. Have you figured it out?

Very nice! Thank you. I found your videos because I was looking for patterns. I have never used Procreate, but I have a Wacom Cintiq and it uses pretty much any design software, as you may know. I never knew about Procreate, when I was researching for my tablet style drawing. However, the principle is the same in creating your beautiful Gingham Pattern, let's say which has a similar path in Photoshop by using >Filter >Other >Offset as you know. So I am not sure how you can increase your number of viewers, perhaps add some videos on Photoshop alongside what you have created with Procreate? I love your channel and you've got some precious videos out there. Best of luck, I will continue watching your other videos, mind you, I have many years of experience, but learning has no limit. Keep going.

Thanks for watching. Yeah I mostly have worked in Photoshop and recently have been trying out Procreate in the iPad. It’s nice but I really like the pattern preview feature Photoshop has to see your pattern repeat in real time so I am now trying a pen display tablet so I can use the full capability of Photoshop and have the drawing freedom of a tablet

@@LemonPaperLab One of my older laptops, where I usually watch KZbin and try things out, didn't agree with the feature, I only got black screen in photoshop, but I will definitely try it on a bigger system. Thank you so much for bringing the pattern feature up, it's a huge improvement and will take away guess work and all the extra steps for sure. 💕

Hi, what canvass size and resolution did you use for this?
@LemonPaperLab Жыл бұрын
I usually work at 300 dpi and canvas size varies. I have seen it described (but don't know for a fact) that the max size that procreate will save the square canvas is 2048x2048 when you copy the canvas and use it as the grain source for a pattern brush. If you use anything larger it will still just scale it to the size.
