Agree with him, I don't think you can just say 'Entertainers' or 'High-pressing' or ''Controlling' as a philosophy or identity, it's not as simple as just saying that's what you are and then you start playing like that, the way City or Liverpool is totally unique to the players and coach, it all fits, it happens when you have all the right people. Newcastle have appeared like 2 or 3 totally different teams this season, we're forcing styles. I don't think there's need for panic though, I think Howe can be the foundation for us, we have the funds now to bring in the right pieces slowly, but there's going to be more 5-1's along the way, I'm not too concerned, it's just part of the process, overall we've come on leaps and bounds this season.

Love David, what a great player he was. So hard to remember if he was even left footed or not because he was so good with both. I get what he’s saying & it’s hard to disagree with him - but he’s speaking more because he loves Newcastle rather than logical thought. Newcastle weren’t that bad last night, the scoreline definitely flattered Spurs, and you have to remember the gulf in quality of the players at these clubs right now. Spurs have some of the best players in the world right now & nobody can argue with that. Newcastle are a club that could easily have gone down a few months ago but the job has been done so far by Eddie Howe - come in, steady the ship, stop it sinking, then look at improving personal & steady building a team in summer. To expect them to compete with Spurs right now is ridiculous, but at the same time nobody likes seeing their team get thumped 5-1, especially after taking the lead. Great to see David though, hero for both these great teams.

Ginola is absolutely right but he has to remember we've just started the rebuild. I wouldn't have half the players in our squad that we have now but it takes time. Still love you David 🖤🤍🖤🤍

People are way too reactionary... OK its 3 defeats on the trot but Newcastle deserved at least a point in both the previous games and occasionally you just get smashed. Even Liverpool got battered by Villa not that long ago.

Relax David, A team most media and critics call a championship side have done well. Give it a couple of seasons Eddie Howe has publicly said he has to play a system he doesn't like but that's all he can do with the players he has at the moment.

Dave the host couldn't trap a medicine ball and yet he scoffs at Ginola. He's a passionate Frenchman wgo loves the game. I agree with a lot of what he said. Back in his day all teams had their own identity and personality, these days everyone's very similar

Like a lot of teams, Newcastle discovered early that the Spurs keeper is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard, yet they never tested him out enough.

Ginola said what the majority of Newcastle fans think. Definitely need more like him who speak with knowledge and passion, unlike many of the thick as brick pundits. Having said that Newcastle have more identity now that we have a half decent manager in Howe. Give the bloke the chance and the money and the team will be rebuilt and thank the heavens that the previous regime has gone forever.

newcastle had been on a great run up until mid march, 3 draws and 6 wins from 9 matches, now though just falling apart again for some weird reason

2:26 Ginola looking at Souness like “ in Newcastle I can walk bare foot and the people will wash my feet as I walk , they would throw my shoes at you”
