I'm guessing the penny with the two holes may have been a buzzer or whizzer, similar to a toy popular for a short time in the 60's/70's called the Op-Yop. Yeah, I'm that old. Or, as the other poster suggested, possibly used as a button.

@@Brando_Magnifico I don’t own either, but after watching hours of videos comparing the Manticore to the Deus 2, Nox 900, Legend the Deus 2 always comes out on top. That being said the Legend is the best detector for the money.

Hey love watching you guys! I use and Equinox 800 and a 900. I see you using the Deus 2 now. I’d like to have your thoughts on the Nokta Legend and do you think it’s a good metal detector?

I haven’t used either the Nox’s or Deus 2, but I’ve got over 100 hours on the Legend & absolutely love it! It’s definitely the best bang for your buck. Has pretty much all the features the higher end machines have. Recovery speed, Iron Filter, Stability, Multi Freq, Pitch tones/60 Tones (which I love the 60 tones, but pitch is better in heavy iron). All that for $510. Obviously the Deus 2 & Nox 900 will outperform the Legend, but they are double & triple the price. The Legend is as good as the Nox 800 & not to far behind the new 900. Now this is coming from the 100’s of hours of watching videos of them head to head. There is tons of comparison videos. The Legend I know very well now & will be sticking with it for a few years.

Definitely silver, tested as well! There was glue on the inside, guessing a mirror was there at one point and time. Mike chipped most of it off. We may get it wrong in the field but always display it correctly on the cleaned up pictures. Thanks for watching!
