Gintama': Enchousen Episode 7-9 Live Reaction (259-261)

So many fantastic things to talk about, but i only want to mention that final scene with Suzuran and Maizo. Honestly the most beautiful and emotional scene in the entirety of Gintama for me. The piano that plays, as Maizo carries Suzuran under the moon, as the sakura petals fall, is single handedly the greatest scene in this arc. Also, my potentially favourite villain is finally introduced. I love oboro, his voice, his design, the way he fights and I LOVE that Sorachi didn't kill him off here. I was so upset when Gintoki beat him, i felt like he had tooooons of potential to be an amazing character. Glad Sorachi had the same idea and kept him alive.

I've been waiting to see your reaction to this arc all day. And I'm glad to see you enjoyed it. So many great things in this arc. All the characters, Gin, Nobume, Tsukuyo, Oboro, Takasugi Kagura, Shinpachi... all the story elements were great. So many reveals and hype moments that build up the future of the series while still being a great arc itself. My personal favorite arc so far in the series at least.

Man I love this arc. Gintoki is amazing. Also I hope you liked Nobume. She is amazing. She kinda plays a secondary role in Baragaki arc, but here she gets to shine a lot more. She is really funny, badass and actually has an interesting story. And I love how she is the one to kick the can at the end, showing that she isn't just following orders. Second favorite in the arc after Gin himself.

This arc is beautiful with many emotion rollercoaster moments and reveals. The sorachi Isaburo troll has to be in the top 3 well excecuted trolls in gintama, looking forward to more Gintama as always , thanks for reacting.
