Modeling is something that is meant for you. Because there are some people who want to be models but arent good (ahem most models now, glamour and insta models). Why? Because they know they want it and therefore become self aware. Models who become one by accident often times arent self conscious of their beauty. They just are. Which is why you gotta give props to model scouts back then because they know a girl is a model when they see one. It's not always about connections.

I just love how the industry talks about her! I’ve never heard them so enamored with a model besides Christy Turlington. It really proves to be big in the business you have to actually be lovely to work with to keep getting booked and build relationships. That’s very important. There’s been many pretty models who you think will be huge but they just aren’t booked too much and they virtually disappear. it’s probably bc the photographers,designers etc don’t care to work with them again. I think they just mean that she has a unique, non cookie cutter look to her. I agree, she’s absolutely gorgeous, much more interesting features than the typical commercial type model. Her features are very strong and striking and it’s what makes her so well suited for high fashion.
