First of all she ain't Indian, she's half German and half Pakistani. She hides her fathers side who is a famous Pakistani Imam in Montrea because he was religious he told her to leave the business as it against Islam. When we were kids I used to see her at gatherings in pls homes and she was shy and would keep to herself and not play with the other kids. She left because she and her parents didn't get along. She would send cheques to her dad but he would send them back. Yasmeen was extremely popular on fashion shows and would always be in every top show on tv and people in the community saw that and would make comments t.o the parents especially when yasmeen began posing for Victoria's Secret. Yasmeens father was very upset but couldn't do anything. I have noticed that German mixed with south Asian, or Arabs turn out to be gorgeous just look at Gigi Hadid and Bella hadid.

One of the most bizarre things/interviews I've heard! At 0.58 she says, "I always thought I was white...." I had a Pakistani friend/neighbour in the 90s who held Yasmeen as a personal role model and one for the Asian community. That's because Yasmeen CLEARLY looks Asian! You wouldn't even think she has a white parent, much like Zayn Malik. Having a white parent doesn't make you white and most people identify more with their aesthetic, not always the heritage.
