Never had even one filipina ask me for 50 pesos. And I've met and dated a bunch online and in person. Ever time I see one of these comments I'm confused and it sounds like a troll. Filipinas I've observed have been some of the most humble and hardworking women on the planet. They have pride and shame. Even the poorest ones would refuse when I want to give them 300 pesos to cover their bus ride home. Makes me realized it's the foreign MEN who are doing something wrong.

My girlfriend and I live in California. Years ago her Lola’s caretaker was caught messaging/chatting/Skypeing/FaceTiming multiple men while she was supposed to be taking care of Lola. Not only that, but she is married too. As my girlfriend and her sisters were paying for her, I recommended to my girlfriend that they fire her because I felt that she couldn’t be trusted. If she was doing this right in front of them, what else was she doing when they weren’t there? They didn’t fire her right away, but they did a couple of weeks later after she did something else.

@@alals6794 Yes Dumaguete is small. From Wikipedia: "According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 134,103 people." Cebu and Manila are a different story, much larger. But even then, the foreigners tend to stay in specific small areas that Gio mentioned (Cebu IT Park, Cebu Business Park, BGC, Makati), and they tend to use the same dating apps... So all those foreigners in Cebu and Manila are really only interacting with the same small pool of Filipinas who are in those areas or using those apps, so it's kinda like a small town population, even though it's within a big city.

I had said before that a lot of younger guys are visiting the philippines. I was up in San Fernando La union this weekend, and there were a lot of foreign people, both men and women, even couples, which I would never bring candy to a candy store. The younger Filipinas obviously would prefer a younger man, but they are finding out that they are just like the Filipinos financially and aren't stable in their own life. Expats have the advantage that most are not going anywhere unless they pass away. Many of the bar girls come from the provinces, and when covid hit, they went home and stayed. So province girls may not be as innocent as you may think. Don't come to the philippines for a woman, come for yourself and the many other benefits that the country has to offer, and then if you want, find someone to share your life.

I will happily back up some of your observations to wit: 1. Keep your expectations realistic. If you are the 60+ guy looking for the hot 20-something hot Filipina, be prepared to keep your wallet open. 2. Don't dress like a slob. Filipino men and women are for the most part well groomed. They may not always have the best, but they wear the best they have. Shave and get a haircut! 3. Don't be an impatient, arrogant d**k. Smile. Be nice, and above all patient. Filipinos are amazing people. Be an amazing person too.

I spent a lot of time in the Pacific during my USAF career & a lot of time with Filipina women. That being said, I would NEVER send one I had never met in person money, I had one who was a bartender whom I knew while stationed in Korea. She never gave me the time of day cause she was dating some other guy at the time BUT after I left, there was a VISA / Green Card raid at the bars & she ended up getting sent back to the P.I. at which time she started hitting me up for favors wanting food & money. I told her I would do what I could to help but never did anything, after about six months, she finally realized & said thanks & that she probably should not have asked in the first place, she was right. I still have a lot of Filipina female friends though, I don't help any of them out financially cause they all have Simps who do that for them, of course they've rewarded said Simps with anchor babies so I guess everyone got something they wanted. One of the things I was warned about as a young Airman though was that when you marry a Filipina, your not just marrying her BUT her entire family & I've heard hundreds of horror stories of dudes having to care for not only their mothers in law but their wives other brothers & sisters as well.... I would take a Filipina woman over an American girl any day of the week though, hands down cause I had a lot more fun & fond memories with them than I ever did with any American girl I've ever spent time with...

I'm curious what it would be like in a more remote area, but tbh I feel a bit dependent on the big city amenities, international grocery stores and high-rise condos-not sure I want the trade offs of living in a less developed place. And yes I have this habit Gio mentioned, of moving place to place, so my relationships tend to be more casual or short-lived. I already tried rent a condo with kitchen that I can cook because I am vegetarian & can find healthy food in Philippines any way most condos are two expensive or not clean compare with European standard. I like Cebu but so polluted city there. The only place I feel good was Business park area in Hop Inn hotel a quiet place but only inside of my room. Concerning healthy or vegetarian food , I couldn’t find places. In fact there are not many vegetables chooses in this country even in modern supermarkt. I understand most people are meat lovers here. I think the beautiful Cebu city is packed with too much expats , too many polluted vehicles & motorbikes, cheepneys , too Mitch noise etc.. it’s my own experience by the way. I discovered a good place to stay was Marcopolo residence area is so expensive for short & long term to stay so not my budget. I also tried by Air bnb but most trash & the prices starts with $45 a night with many problems like warm water doesn’t work or many things doesn’t work or sometimes not clean , compare with a basic clean hotel room. I think the word maintenance for those owners has no meaning here. I have more bad experiences in Cebu city but won’t say them now. So if you have a better experience concerning accommodation & healthy food but affordable , please share it with me. Thank you for your time

I found an absolutely beautiful Filipina 24 years younger than me and after a year and a half we couldn't be happier together, we are getting married. We met online, and while it is true that there are lots of scammers out there, it isn't hard to separate the very many women looking for true love, from the con artists. Rule number one, don't give anyone money until you've met them. Stick to that rule and you'll eliminate most of the scammers right off the bat.

I agree completely about the foreigners i see in the Phil. In the malls or restaurants I see them dressed so bad, I'm embarrassed to think other people see this is how the westerners dress. The obvious answer is be clean and well groomed. Don’t be obese. Don’t be a fat slob. Wear clean decent clothes. I recently switched to merino wool shirts. Very comfortable and if you get a lightweight it’s very cool and doesn’t retain odor. I am in Makati and as a foreigner I can blend in. As a 60+ retired expat I get looks everyday. Some are obvious and some are subtle. If you are in a circle of friends and get introduced you will be asked if you are single. Is this your first time in the Philippines 🇵🇭. How long can you stay. If you say you are retired and can stay because you have pension…. It’s just like sprinkling Catnip everywhere. There’s plenty of opportunities here still. If I compared the sexual market value to the value of a pension…. I would say triple it. $2000 feels like $6000 here. If the western women think you’re a 5… congratulations they think you’re Brad Pitt here. But remember Brad Pitt doesn’t weigh 300 pounds.

I have a Filipina Fiancé that lives in a province. I rarely see foreigners there and the locals watch everything I do. I interact with a lot of Filipinos through my Fiancé. I am not very good at noticing when a woman is interested in me and most Filipinas are just down to earth and easy to talk to. But, every once in a while, I notice that my Fiancé gets a little jealous when a Filipina approaches me and she will hold my hand to show that I am with her. That’s when I know, even though I am 60 years old with balding gray hair and a big stomach, I still can attract some Filipinas younger than me. Maybe they think I am rich? I met my Filipina wife in the United States. I took my first trip to the Philippines, Cagayan de Oro, Mindanao, with her about two years ago to meet her family. I was about 40 years old, a little overweight at the time but otherwise well-dressed and decent looking. I got very little attention from the Filipina women that I noticed. I’m sure part of it was because I was with my wife most of the time, but even when I was left alone I don’t think I got much of any special treatment. On the other hand, my one year old mixed Filipino and white baby was an absolute superstar. People stopped and started at him everywhere we went. Bad for me, good for him I guess.

Actually guys, don't give up on the US and Canada to meet an Asian or Latina, both countries are on the verge (supposedly) of deporting literally millions of people over the next few years, including illegals, temporary foreign workers, students, you name it. Here in the Toronto area where I live immigration consultants are now advising their clients to either find a local to marry or claim refugee status (gonna be difficult to do this if you have lived here for years and travelled back and forth to your home country). There are literally thousands of young Philippinas working here now with only temporary status, the same kind of women you find back in their homeland, many are hard working and sweet and no doubt a lot of them would like to find a guy here in the West to settle down rather than go back to poverty in the Philippines. I married an Asian woman here in Canada, we met here and have raised our family here, best thing I've every done.

You were spot on with your vlog. I see so many foreigners dressing shabbily and expect to find a beautiful Filipina. Filipina’s dress nice and pay attention to how they look. I think they are more interested in a man that does the same. My fiancé and I have been in the Philippines for quite a while, and we live a pretty quiet and private life and I can tell you there are places that foreigners are still widely desired. I’ve spent time in my fiancé’s hometown and have yet to see another foreigner. This is not a small town and has a major production facility that employs over 10,000 people, with the majority being women. I can tell you from personal experience, that a foreigner will get attention whether you’re at the mall or in the market.

That is a population of 700 million and is a few hour flight away, not 16 hours, and flights cost a fraction of going to Manila. Plus the Latin women have far better "assets", lets be honest here. haha
